1. Scope of Services

Lalo’s House & Deck Masters (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides home improvement services including but not limited to deck construction, repairs, renovations, house improvements, and related contracting services. The specific services to be provided will be outlined in a written estimate or contract prior to the commencement of work.

2. Estimates and Proposals

All estimates provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

Any changes to the scope of work may require a revised estimate and must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.

3. Scheduling and Access

Clients agree to provide reasonable access to the worksite during agreed-upon hours.

Any delays caused by lack of access, weather conditions, or unforeseen issues may result in changes to the project timeline.

4. Payments

Payment terms will be clearly stated in the service agreement.

Typically, a deposit is required before work begins, with progress or final payments due upon milestones or completion.

Late payments may result in interest charges or a pause in service.

5. Changes and Cancellations

All change requests must be submitted in writing.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing and project timelines based on changes.

Cancellation by the client after work has commenced may result in charges for work completed and materials ordered.

6. Warranties

We stand by the quality of our work.

A limited warranty may be provided on labor and materials, as specified in your service contract.

Warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, neglect, natural disasters, or work by other contractors.

7. Liability

Lalo’s House & Deck Masters will perform services in a professional and workmanlike manner, in accordance with California state and local codes. However, we are not liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden structural issues, or damages outside the scope of agreed-upon services.

8. Permits and Inspections

It is the responsibility of the client to secure any necessary permits unless otherwise agreed upon. We will cooperate with inspection processes as needed to ensure compliance with local regulations.

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, plans, and renderings provided by Lalo’s House & Deck Masters remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising shall be resolved in the courts located in Solano County, California.

11. Acceptance

By hiring Lalo’s House & Deck Masters for services, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions, in addition to the terms outlined in the project estimate or service contract.
